Spark Plugs

The first thing I've changed after buying the car is the spark set; 4 plugs, breaker arm (platinum) and a condenser.

Plugs cost 20 LE
breaker arm and condenser 22LE

you have to mention to the spare part shop that they are for Seat 133 as to get the same size and model of the old ones you have

as for the installation it's easy just locate he 4 spark plug hose, remove them, then using a spark plug wrench unmount the plugs and mount the new ones, then put the hose back in place.

for the condenser and platinum; remove the distributor cover and you will find the old ones installed using only one screw, remove it and install the new ones in the same place with the same way.

for better adjustment after installing every thing start the engine and very carefully rotate the distributor to the left or right within the range of 1 MM until you find the better timing for your car.

Buying my Seat

I've have just Bought my first car. and it's a seat 133. red one with the model of 1981. the car is in a good condition from the outside (just finished a restoration for paint and interiors ) but for the mechanical side it needs some work.

So I've created this blog to share my work in the car with all seat lovers so we can exchange experience and ideas.
